HANDLE Sensory Processing Program

Using simple activities, the challenged neurodevelopmental and sensory systems are identified and a home program is designed to move the client toward their goals. The HANDLE Screening is recommended for those with autism, ADHD, sensory processing, or learning issues. No formal diagnosis is needed and this is not a formal diagnosis.

The screening includes:

  • 90-120 minutes for the initial assessment activities and observation. This includes a discussion of our findings, designing a home program tailored to your needs, instructions on the activities for the home program, and how to work them into your daily routine.

  • 60-minute follow-up session 4-5 weeks later to assess progress and home program.

  • Supporting paperwork for teachers, IEPs, and members of your therapy support team

Reflex Evaluation Program    

$480.00  — Reflex Integration Program

Reflex Integration is recommended for those with autism, ADHA, sensory processing, learning, or behavior issues. It uses rhythmic, repetitive movement to improve connections between the body and the brain thereby reducing sensitivities, anxiety, improving posture/ balance, and focus.

  • An initial reflex session includes:

  • 90-120 minutes for primary/oral reflex checks

  • A 60- minute follow-up session in 4-5 weeks

  • Review of client history and areas of concern, discussion of findings and their impact on behaviors

  • Designing a home program together, learning the program activities, and discussing the best ways to work them into your daily routine.

  • Supporting paperwork for teachers, IEPs, and members of your therapy support team

 

 

Individual sessions

Due to rising costs, I am reluctantly raising my rates for the second time since starting Sense Enabled in 2016. Beginning May 1st the new rates will bring an initial assessment package to 480.00 and the hourly rate will be 160.00. The initial SSP package will be 345.00.

$160./ 60 min — Single sessions are usually done once monthly but I also offer weekly or bi-monthly sessions for those who want more.

Initial ASSEssment Package

480.00 New client assessment: includes the first 2-hour meeting and the follow-up appointment 4-5 weeks later. I will check the primary /oral reflexes, explain what I observe, the impact on behavior, and design the home program tailored to your needs. We review the client history form, how to look for neurological state changes, learn the activities for the home program, and discuss how to work the program into your daily routine.

160.00 This is the hourly rate for the standard monthly session. A monthly session includes reviewing progress, checks of the current reflex, vestibular, or sensory issues. Reviewing, updating, and adding new activities in the home program. Answering questions and addressing concerns about sensory, learning, or behavioral challenges.

Telepractice

 I do offer online Zoom sessions. You will need a device with good audio/video capabilities that can be moved easily around a well-lit room. This will allow us to work from different angles to capture movements and postures needed to see progress. I recommend scheduling an in-person session before we begin tele-practice for your regular visits. Feel free to contact me if you have questions or would like more information.

Consultations

I offer 60-minute complimentary phone consultations for anyone interested in my work. They can be scheduled using the website app or by contacting me directly.

Consultations for out-of-office problem-solving sessions are offered by email, Zoom, or phone outside of regular appointment times to answer behavior, training, or various questions.

Phone consultations with clients on a program are free for the first 15 minutes.

Fees

Payment is due at the time of service, through credit card, Zelle, cash, or check.

Insurance 

Unfortunately, my services are considered educational and not medical so insurance does not cover these costs. Those clients with HSA/FSA accounts have had success in covering these costs. I am happy to supply an invoice for reimbursement at the time of service.
